From left to right: Angel Valle, 3, Yanice Aviles, Ricardo Tuz, 3, all came to pick up some of the fresh fruit, vegetables, and bread through the federal Summer Food Service Program and the Oregon Food Bank’s Harvest Share for families in need. Today’s distribution was at Baltazar Ortiz Center in NE Portland. Both Valle and Tuz came with their mothers in the baby strollers. For the trip back to their apartments the baby strollers were filled with produce and the children walked home. Benjamin Brink/The Oregonian
